We Provide:
Light fixture installation, replacement. Undercabinet and other strip lighting. Recessed can lights. "Wafer" can lights. Utility lights for garage, closet, workshop, etc.
Smart-home switches, dimmers and plugs, from brands listed below. Lutron Radio RA3 controls, installation and configuration.
Ceiling Fan installation and replacement. Bath fans, including parts and installation. Ceiling fan balancing service (on compatible models).
Whole-house Surge Protection Devices (SPD).Circuit Wiring (general additional, new, removal, replacement and repair).Safe-off circuits for remodels. Switch, dimmer and plug (device) addition, change, upgrade, replacement and installation. Commonly referred to as "device upgrade".
Service Changes. Example: overhead to underground. Service Upgrades. Example: 100A to 200A to 400A to 600A...Service Mast Repair. Electrical Panel Changes. Electrical Panel Upgrades and Updates. Breaker replacements, changes, upgrades, updates.

Line-voltage smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, installation and replacement.

Electrical Inspections and reports. Electrical related troubleshooting. Maintenance checks. Evaluations, estimates and bids.
We don't Provide:
Decorative light fixtures. We love to install them, so once you buy the lights of your choice give us a call!
Limited proprietary smart home devices, if not listed below.
Ceiling fans and parts. You'll need to purchase a ceiling fan for us to install. *Fans in your bathroom will require termination and ducting. This will need to be provided by an HVAC contractor. We can happily discuss this with you.
Warranty coverage for SPDs. This is provided by the manufacturer.
Video doorbell products. However, if you buy the type that require hardwiring into your electrical, we will happily install those for you.
Speakers or Hi-Fi speaker wire. Audiovisual and networking devices. Communication wiring outside the home.
Battery operated smoke and carbon monoxide devices.
Service related to the electrical grid. This is provided by your electrical utility.

Our pricing is designed to be flexible and fair, tailored to the specific needs of each project. For an onsite estimate in the Treasure Valley, we charge a modest $89 for a 30-minute consultation. The best part? If you choose us for the job, that fee will be credited toward your final bill. For smaller jobs, we offer competitive flat-rate pricing to keep things simple and affordable.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Amp Electric is fully licensed, insured, and certified to perform electrical work. Our team of experienced electricians follows all safety standards and building codes to ensure the highest quality of work. We’re happy to provide proof of our credentials upon request.
How soon can you schedule my service?
We understand that electrical issues are often urgent, and we aim to schedule services as quickly as possible. In many cases, we can offer same-day or next-day appointments. We also provide 24/7 emergency services for critical electrical problems. Contact us to check availability for your area.

Amp Electric proudly serves the entire Treasure Valley, including Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, and Middleton. We also extend our services from Mountain Home to Fruitland and other surrounding areas across Ada County and Canyon County.
